Radius has confirmation today of the acquisition of a majority investment into Telcom, a Dublin-based provider of voice and data services. Established in 1999 Telcom has built a leading ISP network that provides businesses with the fastest, most resilient and secure connectivity, voice and cloud services. As the country moves rapidly from older legacy telephony systems, Telcom is in a perfect position to help businesses take advantage of the transition to high-speed connectivity and hosted solutions.
Bill Holmes, the Radius CEO, commented: “The Tully family have built a high-quality Telecoms business over the last twenty years and we’re highly anticipating working with Liam and Shane to help move the business to its next stage of growth. Radius has been in Ireland for over twenty five years with its DCI fuel card brand and this partnership provides a perfect platform to extend our range of services to our valued customers.”
Liam Tully, CTO of Telcom, commented: “In line with the investment Telcom have made into our Core Network, this partnership with Radius allows us to achieve our ambitions for growth within the Irish and UK market. This is a great fit for Telcom staff and customers, as it provides more opportunities for the business as well as offering a greater depth of solutions with the added portfolio of Radius.”
Shane Tully, CCO of Telcom, commented: “Telcom is thrilled to partner with Radius at an exciting time in the growth of the company. Radius’s vision is very much aligned with that of Telcom and especially with the acceleration of digital transformation where businesses of all sizes will rely more and more on high speed, cost-effective and enterprise-class fibre services.”
