Radius Collects Risk Management Award

Radius Payment Solutions are celebrating after winning the Risk Management Award last night at Computing Security Excellence Awards 2018.

Dave Roberts, Chief Information Officer at Radius, said: “It is absolutely critical to the success of our business that data security and risk are managed effectively.  The award recognises how we have quantified, managed and been able to mitigate security risks.”

“Technology and innovation are at the heart of everything Radius is doing, both in how we operate and how we develop our products and deliver them to our customers. Our in-house dedicated software teams make use of the latest applications to develop unique features on our web, tablet and app portals.”

Over the last four years Radius has invested in Information Security with the introduction of Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration testing, web, email and desktop orientated filtering, to provide a multi-layered approach. A Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) has also been utilised to help proactively identify any potential data leakage risks.”

Radius achieved the ISO27001 accreditation on 5^th March 2018.  It is one of the cornerstones to building a strong, scalable platform, essential to supporting the development of new products and services.

Dave concluded: “We are delighted that all our hard work has ultimately been recognised in this manner and is a real accolade to the team.  We have effectively managed data risks across the entirety of our global business and developed a disaster recovery plan for core IT systems to deliver application continuity at all times.”
