Our GPS asset trackers are small devices that you can fit to your business vehicles or other valuable assets, for effective fleet tracking. These devices send out signals to the our asset tracking software to allow you to keep track of fleet asset location.

With effective location tracking, your asset management and inventory management efforts become easier, based on asset data in terms of current and historical location.

A GPS asset tracking device uses GPS to send location data from your fleet assets to our Kinesis asset tracking software at regular intervals, so you can always keep track asset location.

The asset trackers we use are small, robust and self-installed. They can be used on anything from small non-powered assets and machinery, to heavy equipment and vehicles - and even a fixed asset to protect against theft.

At Radius, our asset trackers are GPS based, designed for items such trailers, plant and agricultural equipment, and construction machinery, as well as other valuable physical assets that need to be tracked.

RFID asset tracking and GPS asset tracking are two different methods used to track assets.

RFID asset tracking relies on use of an RFID tag, which can be either passive RFID (which do not have their on power source and rely on reader signal or transmission) or active RFID (which do have their own power source.

RFID asset tracking uses readers to capture the data transmitted by the tags. This data includes information about the asset, such as its location and status. RFID asset tracking is often used for tracking assets within a confined area, such as a warehouse or a manufacturing facility.

On the other hand, GPS asset tracking uses Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to track assets. GPS asset tracking relies on satellite signals to determine the location of the asset. This information is then transmitted to a central system, allowing users to track the asset in real-time.

While RFID asset tracking is suitable for indoor tracking and provides accurate location data within a limited range, GPS asset tracking is ideal for outdoor tracking and offers global coverage. Additionally, GPS asset tracking can provide more precise location information compared to RFID asset tracking.
