Aligning With NZTA’s Future Direction
NZTA (New Zealand Transport Agency) has announced upcoming changes aimed at modernising and streamlining how compliance information is managed across the transport sector. Radius is aligning with this direction by building solutions that support greater automation, improved data accuracy, and reduced administrative burden for operators.
The case for greater digitisation includes:
- Zero Physical Labels: Under the Regulatory Systems Transport Amendment Act 2026, physical windscreen labels are being phased out in favour of digital-only verification.
- The Administrative Drain: Manual spreadsheet tracking and paper compliance logs leak up to 10% of total vehicle operating costs in internal resource waste.
- Massive Data Overhead: New Zealanders own more cars per capita than any other nation (9 vehicles per 10 citizens), turning manual fleet tracking into a severe administrative bottleneck.

Simplifying NZTA compliance with Radius software
A new compliance module is now available with Kinesis Pro, our advanced fleet management software. Transforming how you manage vehicle and trailer compliance. With our NZTA Link integration, the system automatically retrieves WoF (Warrant of Fitness), CoF (Certificate of Fitness), registration status and RUC (road user charges) data directly from NZTA.
This eliminates the manual updates currently done by many NZ businesses and ensures your compliance information is always accurate, consistent, and up to date.
