Where can I use my UK Fuels card?

The UK Fuels network

The UK Fuels card is part of Radius's own multi-brand fuel card network, designed to provide businesses with widespread access to fuel across the United Kingdom. What began as a network of truck stops in 1990 has since grown into an expansive network boasting over 4,300 fuel stations nationwide.

With more than 650,000 UK Fuels cards currently in circulation, it's a trusted choice for businesses of all sizes.

UK Fuels locations include all Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda Express supermarket fuel stations and all Texaco sites. Additionally, you'll find numerous other independent fuel stations that accept UK Fuels cards.  These independent sites include dedicated truck stops and some independently owned stations operating under well-known brands like Esso or Shell.

How to find a UK Fuels fuel station

Finding your nearest UK Fuels station is straightforward thanks to e-route, a comprehensive mapping tool. You can access e-route in several convenient ways:to plan your route and locate stations.

UK Fuels locations across the United Kingdom

Extensive coverage throughout England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland is available on the UK Fuels network, ensuring you're never far from a refuelling point.

England

You'll find a high concentration of UK Fuels locations in major city regions, including over 300 in Greater London, over 200 in the West Midlands, and over 150 in Greater Manchester. Beyond the major cities, there are also numerous stations in most smaller towns and cities like Sheffield, Bristol, and UK Fuels’ hometown of Crewe.

You'll find regular stops along the motorway network for long-haul journeys, including the M1, M4, M5, and M6. Businesses operating internationally will also benefit from stations conveniently located near major ports such as Dover, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Liverpool, Hull, and Newcastle.

Scotland

There are over 350 UK Fuels locations in Scotland. You'll find many fuel stations in the major cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh (including Midlothian). Smaller towns and cities, including Dumfries and Inverness, are also well-covered.

For those travelling across Scotland, there are regular stops along key transport routes like the M74/A74M and A1 in the Lowlands, and along the A9 into the Highlands, with our most northerly UK Fuels station in Wick.

Additionally, stations are close to important ports such as Cairnryan, Oban, Ardrossan, Ullapool, and Aberdeen.

Wales

In Wales, you'll have access to over 260 UK Fuels locations.There are a large number of fuel stations concentrated around Cardiff and its surrounding towns. Many stations are available in smaller towns and cities throughout Wales, including Swansea, Wrexham, and Bangor.

Key transport routes are well-covered, with regular stops along the M4 through Cardiff and Swansea, continuing along other major roads in South Wales, such as the A40 to Fishguard. The A470 North-South route also features regular stops, as does the A55 across the north of the mainland and Anglesey.

For ferry crossings, you'll find fuel stops conveniently located close to the ports of Holyhead and Fishguard.

Northern Ireland

The UK Fuels card shares acceptance with our DCI fuel card network in Northern Ireland, which accounts for 400 stations.

There are many stations located in the City of Belfast and around its port. Additionally, there's excellent coverage along major routes, including the M1 and M2 motorways and the A1 down to the border. You'll also find many local fuel stations in smaller towns and cities, including Derry and Newtownabbey.

The extensive reach of the UK Fuels network is particularly beneficial for businesses operating in their local area. With acceptance at all Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Asda Express supermarket fuel stations, local businesses can easily refuel their vehicles during regular operations or while stocking up on essentials.

Furthermore, including all Texaco stations and a significant number of independently owned fuel stations means businesses have ample choice for refuelling close to their depots, offices, and customer locations. This widespread access to conveniently located stations helps to minimise detours and save valuable time.

HGV accessible fuel stations and truck stops

The UK Fuels network is invaluable for HGV and transport operators. The network has over 1,000 fuelling locations specifically designed to accommodate larger vehicles which include higher canopies, wider lanes and high-speed pumps.

Over 190 of these HGV stations are classed as motorway or truck stop sites, located along the major arterial routes of the UK, meaning your fleets won't need to deviate from their routes to fill up.

HVO fuel

Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) is available on the UK Fuels network in line with a growing demand for sustainable fuel options.

HVO fuel is a renewable diesel alternative, produced from waste fats and vegetable oils, offering a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional diesel.

Today, 55 fuel stations on the UK Fuels network provide HVO fuel as an option, supporting businesses looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

EV charging with the fuelplus hybrid card

The fuelplus hybrid UK Fuels card offers a solution for businesses transitioning to electric vehicles or operating a mixed fleet. In addition to the whole UK Fuels network, users of this card can access Radius's growing EV charging network, which includes over 33,500 multi-branded EV charging points across the UK.
