As a leading employer in Crewe, Radius is proud to support local initiatives that benefit the community where we live and work. This week, we announced a multi-year donation programme with Crewe Youth Zone, to build a new state-of-the-art facility that will offer young people in our community access to sports and the arts, as well as support from outstanding youth workers.

Crewe Youth Zone aims to enhance the local area by providing a destination for young people. The design should provide a space that is inspirational and recognisable, whilst also accommodating the requirements for first-class facilities in sports, arts, performance and enterprise. The Youth Zone will be staffed by skilled youth workers who will support young people to grow, creating opportunities for them to develop their skills and build their confidence, with over 20 activities available to try each day.

Radius is providing financial support over the next four years as part of OnSide’s Founder Patron campaign to ensure the Youth Zone opens its doors to as many young people as possible from the start.

To mark the kick-off of our partnership, Cat Havers, Ian O’Doherty, Ellen Birchenough and Stuart Manifould from the Crewe Youth Zone were welcomed to the Radius Campus office by our Executive Chairman Bill Holmes and Chief People Officer Emma Quinn.
