EV Salary Sacrifice: How our scheme can transform your business

The car will remain in the business name until the contract ends, the car could be reallocated to another employee under a salary sacrifice scheme. There is also the option to terminate the contract early, this will likely result in an early termination fee which can be paid by the business or passed to the employee.  

Should you opt for Early Termination Protection, you will be covered for any employees that decide to leave part-way through, however, there are a few limitations on what is covered. Please refer to the Early Termination Protection document for further information or contact a member of our team.

An employee is eligible for the Salary Sacrifice scheme if they meet all the following criteria; all permanent employees with a minimum of 6 months service, hold a full UK drivers licence, employer has confirmed that the scheme is affordable for them and not currently subject to a disciplinary warning or performance plan.  

Due to tax, legal and insurance reasons, your employer reserves the right to refuse an application to join the scheme.

The following is not included in the salary sacrifice scheme; fuel, oil, lubricants, screen wash and AdBlue, excess mileage charges, mechanical failure due to driver fault. Any damages outside of the maintenance and insurance policy. You can add your own personalised private plate two weeks after you have taken delivery of your car. Our team will put you in contact with the funder who will assess if the plate meets the legal requirements, advise you of the admin cost in doing so and the process of applying the plate.  

The car is owned by and registered to the funder of the vehicle. Your employer, Radius and the funder of the vehicle have entered a contract to provide the use of a car to eligible employees. The salary sacrifice agreement for the car is between you and your employer. You will not own the car for the duration of the contract and do not have the option to own the car at the end.

Yes, you can take your car abroad, however, you must give us a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice so that we can notify the funder. This will allow us to issue a travel pack which will contain the necessary documentations including a VE103b certificate. You may need to pay a small admin fee – the cost of this will be provided upon request.
