Understanding one-time passcodes (OTPs)

An OTP is a unique code sent by us via text message or app notification to verify that it’s really you making a transaction or logging in. It expires within minutes and can only be used once. This makes it one of your strongest security tools – but only if you keep it private.

Fraudsters often pose as Radius staff, delivery companies, or HMRC and claim they need your OTP to “verify your account” or “process a refund”. Never share it - this is always a scam.
