Network coverage and flexibility

Allstar provides access to one of the largest fuel networks in the UK. It is widely accepted across the UK fuel network and is a common choice for drivers who need to fill up at a wide range of forecourts.

Radius fuel cards offer extensive access to up to 8,300 fuel stations. The coverage includes over 4,600 stations on its own UK Fuels network, plus additional stations on other major brand networks, such as BP, Esso, and Shell all on one single account.

Pricing models and account charges

With Radius, users can choose between fixed weekly prices and discounts off the pump. Fixed prices can help provide cost certainty compared to fluctuating pump prices. This model ensures that fuel costs are known for the week ahead, regardless of forecourt prices. Radius utilises a transparent pricing structure with a monthly card fee and no additional transaction fees on fuel.

Allstar generally operates on a pump-related pricing model. While discounts are available at some specific "Discount Diesel" sites, most transactions will fluctuate according to daily market rates. Allstar accounts may include additional costs, such as transaction fees and underused account fees, depending on the agreement and usage.

Electric vehicle (EV) charging

Allstar currently operates a large, established public charging network with over 77,000 chargers, offering significant coverage for fleets that have already undergone substantial electrification.

Radius focuses on supporting businesses as they transition from traditional fuel to electric vehicles. The Radius public charging network is expanding, with new providers and connections added regularly. Radius provides access to 48,000+ charging points with transparent electricity pricing. It also offers home and workplace charging points so drivers can charge vehicles during downtime.

Integrated telematics and reporting

Radius cardholders can use the Radius Velocity portal and App, which features native integration for Radius’s own telematics platform. This connection provides a single view for fleet managers, enabling the system to support MPG analysis and help flag potential discrepancies between vehicle location and fuel transactions.

Allstar provides comprehensive online account management and offers integration with third-party telematics providers, enabling fuel and vehicle data to be combined.
