Eagleworks Oxford is a prestigious residential development in central Oxford seeking to modernise its infrastructure with large-scale EV charging for residents.

Despite multiple prior attempts over a 7-year period, the scheme had remained undelivered due to a combination of technical, legal, and stakeholder complexities.

Radius was appointed to provide a fully managed, end-to-end delivery solution to unlock and complete the project.

Challenge

The project had stalled for over seven years due to a combination of critical barriers:

• Insufficient and uncertain existing electrical capacity
• Complex lease structures requiring multi-party approvals
• Fragmented stakeholder management across residents and managing agents
• Lack of a single accountable delivery partner to coordinate technical and commercial delivery

A fully integrated turnkey approach was required to unblock the scheme and deliver at scale.

Solution

Delivered within an accelerated 8-week build programme, Radius provided a fully managed end-to-end solution through our in-house Project Management team, taking full responsibility for coordination and execution from design through to completion.

We led full stakeholder engagement across leaseholders, residents, and management agents to secure approvals and maintain alignment throughout delivery. Comprehensive site surveys and feasibility  works were undertaken, including the planning and implementation of a new upgraded power supply to support long-term demand and scalability.

The delivery scope included:

• Electrical infrastructure upgrades
• Full project management covering design, installation, commissioning, and certification
• On-site coordination to ensure health & safety compliance and minimal disruption to residents

In addition, Radius support the client to secure £60,000 in grant funding to improve project viability and enhance commercial outcomes.

A long-stalled 7-year project was successfully transformed into a fully operational EV charging solution within 8 weeks.
