The vehicle location was first detected at 10:19 am in Dalston, less than 2 miles southeast of the theft venue. The investigator acted fast and departed at 10:30 am, arriving at the location at 12:02 pm. When they arrived at the scene, the vehicle was locked and unattended with no obvious damage. The police also attended to arrange a police recovery, which occurred at 3:45 pm.
Conclusion
Overall, the recovery took just over 12 hours from the first report to vehicle retrieval.
