Bill Holmes
Executive Chairman (EC)
Bill graduated with a degree in biochemistry from Leeds University in 1985 before joining Esso Petroleum on its sales and marketing graduate scheme.
In January 1990 after just over four years with Esso, Bill left to found UK Fuels above a hairdressing salon in the village of Holmes Chapel in Cheshire.
Since those early years as a diesel bunkering company, Bill has led the business on an ambitious growth journey and extended the range of products and services to provide a complete suite of mobility and connectivity solutions to our customers.
In 2013 Radius was formed from the merger of more than 20 group companies and it now has operations across 18 countries in five continents.
In October 2023 he stepped up to become Executive Chairman where he will be supporting our Group CEO, Lee Everett, in helping to deliver the ambitious plans we have to aid our customers through the energy transition and the many other challenges and opportunities that new technology is bringing.
Outside of his work with Radius, Bill is a trustee of The Helvellyn Foundation. This independent charitable organisation strives to preserve biodiversity and ensure all young people have equal access to opportunities.
