Fuel cards work like a bank or store card, however you only use them for buying fuel. You get a PIN for security, use your card(s) to buy on credit, and afterwards you pay a single invoice for all of your fuel transactions each week.
You can also choose from a variety of different fuel cards and pricing tariffs to suit your requirements.
A fuel and EV charge card gives you the same benefits that your fuel card offers with the addition of being able to charge your electric vehicle with the same card.

Fuel cards work like a bank or store card, but do not have a chip. They do have a magnetic strip on the reverse, however, which allows fuel card providers to capture the data on the card’s usage, while a PIN number provides a unique validation method.
Charge cards are easy to use and ensure that your journeys are seamless and uninterrupted.
They utilise radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to make the charging process simpler for drivers. Simply tap your card on the charger at the beginning and end of your charging session, and the cost will automatically be added to your regular invoice.
Every fuel card has a set of network of sites where it can be used, but some cards can be used across multiple networks. Fuel card networks can provide local, national or international coverage depending on your requirements.

As well as fuel stations, you can use your fuel and EV charge card at thousands of public charge points across the UK. Use Radius e-route to find your nearest charge point or plan your next journey.
If you have the Radius One card, you will be able to access over 48,000 charging locations across the UK. Our network is planned to double over the next 12-18 months.
If you have the BP Plus Hybrid card, you will be able to access over 14,000 public charge points across the UK, including access to ultra-rapid charge points with power up to 150kW.
You pay at the till as you would with any other payment method. The cashier will swipe your fuel card and either ask you to enter your four-digit PIN number or sign for the transaction.
Sometimes, you may be asked to do both and the cashier may also ask for your vehicle registration number and mileage for extra validation. The transaction will then be logged on your account and appear on your next weekly invoice.
Unfortunately, our fuel cards are not currently accepted by ‘Pay at Pump’ terminals.
Most of our fuel cards are PIN protected and are a much safer payment method than cash. What’s more, you can set fuel alerts in Radius Velocity to ensure you are notified of any suspicious transactions.

Yes. You can have multiple fuel and combined fuel and EV charge cards within your Radius | UK Fuels account. In some cases, you can also have multiple different brands of fuel cards within your account.
If one of your fuel/fuel and EV charge cards is lost or stolen, you can put it on stop easily using our free-to-use online account management portal, Radius Velocity.

Our fuel and EV charge cards give you the ability to fuel or charge your vehicles easily with one card, combining your fuel and charging costs in one invoice. The card itself has an RFID chip in it, which means you can make contactless payments at charging points.
